These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Soniclyze's iOS application and web services ("Services"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Soniclyze provides acoustic measurement tools, report generation, and verification services. Measurements are captured using your iOS device's microphone and processed to produce verifiable reports.
2. Account and Authentication
Access to certain features requires signing in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your authentication credentials or tokens with third parties.
3. Measurement Accuracy
While Soniclyze strives for accuracy, measurements are dependent on your device's hardware capabilities and environmental conditions. Soniclyze measurements are intended for informational and professional reference purposes and should not be used as the sole basis for regulatory compliance or legal proceedings without independent verification.
4. Report Publishing and Verification
When you publish a report, it becomes publicly verifiable via its unique public ID. Published reports include device information, measurement data, and an optional location. You represent that reports you publish are based on actual measurements you have performed.
5. Report Revocation
You may revoke any report you have published at any time. Revoked reports will be marked as such on the verification page. Revocation is irreversible.
6. Sharing
Share tokens grant temporary, single-use access to a report. You are responsible for distributing share links only to intended recipients.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Publishing fabricated or intentionally inaccurate measurement data
- Attempting to forge or tamper with report signatures or integrity hashes
- Abusing rate limits or attempting to disrupt the service
- Using the service for any unlawful purpose
8. Intellectual Property
Soniclyze and its associated trademarks, logos, and software are the property of Soniclyze. Measurement data you create remains yours. By publishing a report, you grant Soniclyze a license to host and serve that report for verification purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
Soniclyze is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate measurements, service interruptions, or data loss.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
